One things that’s worth remembering about this patch is that it technically doesn’t affect Call of Duty: Warzone just yet.
Unfortunately, there wasn’t really enough time for players in the beta to develop a consistent meta, so it’s hard to say how these changes will matter, or how different the guns will feel from their beta versions.
While this nerf should make sliding a slightly less popular option for players that are already in the middle of a firefight, it should still be a great way to get around the map.Īmong the patch’s many other changes, it also brings tons of weapon balancing updates including nerfs to the AK-47 and SMGs as a whole. The patch also reduces the speed and effectiveness of sliding, one of the most prevalent mechanics in both Black Ops Cold War’s beta and in Modern Warfare, the series’ previous entry. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is bringing Prestige back.
